Diet Rules to Keep Your Weight Loss Goals in Check

Rule #2: Forget about Eating with Large Groups
If your co-workers want to round up the entire team and go out to lunch, find a reason to get out of the situation. When you eat with a large group, you will be spending a lot of time at the table. That means appetizers, main meals, and even desserts will likely go around.
The more time you spend at the table, the more you are likely to eat just to be sociable. Avoid these large group outings and invite just a few friends out at a time to make the meal faster and more efficient for your dieting purposes.
Rule #3: Eat Packaged Dinners
While frozen dinners might not always be all that appetizing, they can really help you with your dieting goals. Most people eat a lot more calories in the evening than they do at any other time of the day. You have likely heard that eating too late at night can actually do bad things to your diet.
In order to avoid eating too much, pick a frozen dinner that has a pre-portioned serving size. You can also create your own meals in advance and freeze them for future use if you want more taste and variety.
Rule #4: Substitute Nuts for Other Snacks
Nuts are high in fat, but they also have a lot of other items in them that can help you with your weight loss goals. Instead of reaching for a cookie, try some nuts to help you get through your craving.
After some time, you might even find them more satisfying. Make sure you keep the nuts around in single serving sizes so you do not eat too many of them when you snack.
Once you follow these rules for a few weeks, they will become more habits than rules. Staying on a diet is all about changing your habits into ones that are more healthy for your future.
